The SS United States Conservancy invites you to join us for a special Philadelphia City Cruises excursion on Thursday, November 14,  at which friends of the Big U will gather for a close-up view of the ship at Pier 82 from the Delaware River.

Guests will enjoy a buffet luncheon, which will include entrees, salads, and desserts served from the ship's climate-controlled interior or open-air outdoor deck. Complimentary soft drinks will be served and a cash bar will be available.

Boarding will begin at 10:30 AM at Penn’s Landing, 401 South Christopher Columbus Boulevard in Philadelphia, and the cruise will begin at 11:00. Nearby parking is available at Lombard Circle Parking Lot on Columbus Boulevard and Lombard Circle. The boat will travel downriver to the SS United States' pier location to facilitate viewing of the ship from the river. The cruise will return at 1:00 PM when passengers may disembark. 

During the cruise, Conservancy board members and special supporters will share remarks and recollections. Stanton R. Daywalt, co-author of “SS United States: An Operational Guide to America’s Flagship” will also be available to sell and sign books

Tickets are $125.00 per person and a portion of each ticket sold benefits the SS United States Conservancy, including its future museum.
