Once the pride of America and one of the last big transatlantic ocean liners, the SS United States is being booted from its pier in Philadelphia and must relocate by Sept. 12. This historic vessel needs our help to survive.
My family has a deep emotional connection with this ship, and it saddens me to hear of this latest setback to the effort to revive this iconic vessel.
