In 1966, traveling on the SS United States was no longer just a trip, it was a Seafari! United States Lines declared an “open season of fun” on board the SS United States, suggesting that to “seafari” is to make memories and let the best in life come to you on the fastest ship in the world. This advertisement doesn’t hold back as it illustrates a fashionable young woman in a red jacket sitting alongside a cheetah, both ready for an adventure at sea.
