In order to compete in the Age of the Jet, the SS United States had to become the boat to be on. To make the 5 day journey more appealing to those used to reaching Europe in only a matter of hours, the amenities found on board the United States became the star of the show. From dancing til dawn to a second honeymoon, the SS United States had it all to make the trip to Europe “the time of your life.”
